Reinventing the Quitting Journey
USER FLOWS / SITE MAP / UX DESIGN / UI DESIGN
The Challenge
Among the 1.3 billion smokers, 30-50% make an attempt to quit in any given year, however only 7% actually succeed. Our team was tasked with creating the voice and designing the interface for a digital tool that aimed to help smokers quit through Nicotine Replacement Therapy.
How can we design an experience that will not only encourage and push our users, but help them to actually succeed in quitting smoking?
Design Approach
Upon completing a competitive analysis, we worked to create a strong brand voice and brand personality that could create a special connection with its users. We studied to understand the different potential flows our users could encounter from relapsing to giving up, and designed solutions for any flows that existed outside of the happy path. While we designed for the goal of gaining the users trust during the onboarding process, the homescreen was designed with the aim to make the quitting journey as engaging and stress-free as possible.
